What Bohemian Design does to create the best web site

Arrange for a meeting and possible tour of your facility. I'll get to know your company and products. Discuss the web-friendly aspects of your company, your ideas for your web site, and make suggestion for things you may not have though of.
Develop the basic floor plan of your site. Outline content and a strategy for implementation.
Integrate your present logo and graphical media image and create a graphical presentation of a theme for your site.
Or do possible logo development if elected. Generally it is considered best to carry an overall "theme" throughout the site.
Create a graphic prototype of what your site will look like.

Hand coded HTML layout. I do not use any WYSIWYG (WhatYouSeeIsWhatYouGet) HTML editors like FrontPage, GoLive, or DreamWeaver. Each site is one of a kind, and coded accordingly. WYSIWYG editors are not capable of creating robust HTML which will always look and work as intended on all browsers and platforms. They generally create nothing but sloppy non-w3c compliant code.
Web optimized graphics. Graphics optimized for the web can be up to 88% smaller then graphics made using the default graphics software and scanner resolution settings. Using these settings intended for printing is a common mistake made by novice web designers. Obviously these large files take longer to download, and yet do not appear any clearer on screen. Hosting will be more expensive too if your web site hosting provider charges you by the amount of bandwidth you use monthly.
Web graphics also have their own color idiosyncrasies. Unless you are familiar with them your graphics may not be seen as you intended them to be.
Web server statistics. Every site produced by Bohemian Design comes with automated WebLog analyzing tools*. This integrated reporting program creates five web page reports comprised of:

This is the official debut of your site. When it's all done and completed initial testing, it's finally uploaded and registered under your domain.

Search engine submission.

Updating can always be done following our standard price schedule or you have the option of an automatic monthly service plan starting at $200 per month. This includes:

Search engine re-submission, once every 3 months or after a major update.
Testing for broken links.
Update product pages for online catalogs/shopping carts.
General updates to page content. (new articles, corporate news, press releases, employment links, etc.) and implementation of new technology.
Up to 10 hours of work done per month. The usual billable time afterward.
